Miss Taylors Farewell Dance Performance and Presentation A big thank you to all the girls who were involved in this very special event. Miss Taylor was very touched by the performances, speeches and the lovely gifts. We would all like to wish Miss Taylor good luck and all the very best for the future. Northern Schools Cross Country Race

Well done to the junior and senior cross country team who on Saturday 6th March competed in the Northern Schools Cross Country Race.

This was held in Stockport and it was a very long and challenging race. We had two major successes with Sophie and Hanna Tarver winning their races. This has never been done before in Wirral Colours so it is a massive achievement.

Congratulations to our Year 8 and Year 9 Volleyball squads !!!

The year 8 Volleyball squad have just been crowned U13 Wirral Schools Volleyball Champions after beating Park High School in the final 2 sets – 1 set.
WELL DONE!!!!

The Year 9 Volleyball squads were entered into the U14 Wirral Schools Volleyball Championships held at Pensby High School on Thursday 4th March.

The ‘A’ squad reached the final and played two very close sets against Pensby but it was our girls who took the lead and went on to finish winners of the tournament.

News!!!!

Phoebe Ginelly and Ceri Gillett represented Cheshire in the Inter-county Swimming Championships at the weekend (30th – 31st January) – they have been selected for an intensive week of training at half term in Tenerife.

Gymnastics - Saturday January 23rd They had to compete in a floor, vault and group piece. They did fantastically well and finished in 1st and 3rd place. A big thank to all the girls and Michelle Stalker – the gym coach for their commitment. They now compete in National Finals in Stoke.
Year 9 Interhouse Volleyball Results The year 9 Interhouse volleyball tournament took place on Thursday 28th January. Approximately 60 girls were selected to represent their house and again it was a very close but enjoyable competition. The results were as follows: Invicta finished in 3rd place. Alpha finished in 2nd place and The winners were Esperance Congratulations to Esperance and well done to all girls who took part
Netball - Saturday January 30th U14, U16 and U19's played in the North West Netball Finals in Blackpool. A great achievement girls - thanks for your commitment!
U13 Wirral Schools Volleyball The Wirral Schools U13 Volleyball Competition took place on Thursday 28th January at Pensby High School. A number of schools across the North West took part. We entered six teams and all girls played exceptionally well. Our U13 A squad were unbeaten and reached the semi final playing a very close set against Pensby but it was Wirral who took the lead and went on to win the set. The girls are now through to the final against Park High School. Congratulations and Good Luck! Miss King
